This is a great series and a joy to listen to. I can hardly turn the story off when I have to work. The ONLY issue I have is with the word Willamette, when refering to the river or the valley, the reader is saying Will-A-met when it should be said as Will-Am-It. But still well worth the price and you should get all of them
I was hooked within the first 10 minutes and had purchased the the rest of the series before I finished the first book. This was money well spent and I will re-listen again and even again. This is series will be a must for any long road trips.
Oliver Wyman opened the world of Monster Hunters from the opening paragraph to the end. I was not sure what to expect with this book, but before I finished this one, I went back to Audible and bought the rest of the Monster Hunter books. If you want something fun to pass the time you won't be sorry with this series.
I was surprised by Wil Wheaton, this was the first book I listened to with him as the Narrator and it won't be the last. I am not a gamer, but my kids are so I can't say if the gaming is good or not, but I enjoyed the premise. The overall story between the individual and corporations was very well done and held my interest - I finished the book in 2 days, listening in the car, while walking, and anytime I had a few minutes to myself.
I greatly enjoyed this series, but was disappointed that the rest of the books are not yet available. Is this going to be another long series that drags on from year to year? I hope not, but at least I have the first 3 books and can listen to them again when book 4 is out and then again when book 5 shows up.
