Better than many. Nice easy read. Feels like an update on old friends. Made me want to re-read the book where the main character was introduced.
Yes. Light reading with likable, real characters
Yes. Great example of a memoir that is entertaining and full of adventure.
No, but I looked forward to picking it back up each time.
Great book. Reminds me of Walk Across America. Only portion I didn't enjoy and added no value to the book was the killing of her mothers horse.
Someone who likes science fiction.
An indication in the summary or genre the plot of this book.
Aggravation and disappointment. Abuse of a human being is not enjoyable.
I am always searching for new authors and fun books. I rely on the summary and genre to determine if it is worth a purchase. The summary and genre fail to indicate what this was about.
Fast read. Does not drag. Funny and captures relationships with deadbeat dads.
High powered female
Neutral. I've enjoyed the series but this book wasn't believable from fallen in love in a couple of days to the plan to convince the children's father to leave his children with Donavan, to the drugging of Eve who came out unaffected.
Yes. I've liked this series.
Good reader but does a terrible southern accent. It detracts from the story and if I didn't like mama Kelly based on the narrator in the first several books in the series, I would not like her.
Yes but an abridged version might be a better choice. This book drags on and off throughout.
Steele meeting his match.
Yes. Overall fine. He does little to differentiate the characters from book to book.
Liked Cole and PJ
Thank goodness the heavy and hick southern accent was not a part of this book. The last book may me hesitate to listen to this one. Adam Paul would do better if he sticks to a light drawl if any and focus on the differences in the characters.
Preferred to break up over a couple of days.
I prefer one narrator for a series. Especially one that developed the sound of each character though out the series. Susan Ericksen does this the best with the In Death series by JD Robb.
Go back to Harry Berkeley or have Mr. Paul drop the southern accent.
Rachel's protection of the children in her classroom.
I've listened to other books narrated by Mr. Paul and enjoyed his narration. Was disappointed by this effort.
Suspenseful, gripping, unexpected
Rachel. Her courage and struggles
I made the mistake of trying to read another novel in this series and quickly realized I was missing background needed so I went back to this first novel. I would recommend reading the series in order.
Another adventure with the Sweet Magnolias
The sound quality distracts from the book. It sounds like it was recorded in a tin can.
Yes to Dee Henderson. No to Adam Verner. His voice for Falcon was full of himself.
Yes. Based on her prior books - The O'Malley's and the True series.
would not make into a movie or TV series.
This book was very slow and drawn out.
