Michael Rose is the chief financial officer of a top energy company headquartered in Washington, D.C. At 42, he is the odds-on favorite to become the next CEO. He is also the proud father of two kids, and he's about to find out just how far he'd go to protect them.

    "Not a typical Stephen Frey"
    Overall

I have listened to all the other Stephen Frey books available and the first half is lousy. As another reviewer mentioned it is mainly all about affairs and sexually related dialogues. Only into the last part is the corporate world really mentioned and at that it is more the typical 'cut out' stuff. I enjoy the boardroom details not the adulterous thoughts of the characters. I think I will wait for the next Joseph Finder book over Stephen Frey.

Moonlight Bay: a safe, secluded small town that is at its most picturesque in the gentle nighttimes that inspired its name. But now, somewhere in the night, children are disappearing. Christopher Snow believes that the children are still alive. He is convinced the disappearances have everything to do with the catastrophic effects of secret research conducted deep within Fort Wyvern. To keep those secrets, violent and powerful forces are willing to conceal even the most heinous crimes.

Started out great, I am only 2 hours in and it has gone so far away from the plot talking about monkeys as if trying to philosophy with them and there thoughts. What about the kids and the fact that you (first person character) is in the middle of chasing them down. WOW, very side-tracked for what started out so good. Hopefully it gets better.
