I will buy this book on print to see if I can make heads and tails of it. The book is not suitable for being read to you. They did a good job at the characterization, but still it is way too hard to follow. So hard that is very taxing trying to follow the story, which seems to be a good one. I got the audio book first and could not follow. After watching the movie, I realize that I really wanted this book so I am buying the print version.
Nothing wrong with the story. The audiobook media is not suitable for this book.
Could not finish even the first audio file. I think I went through 30% before I had to stop it. It was pure toture.
Yes. When Sanderson wrote the book, I don't think he was thinking of printed media. The book reads as if it was intended to be read out loud. Kind of like OSC books.
The ending. The ending is very captivating.
Everything. I felt like I was in the story while he was reading it.
Yes and did. It is short enough and interesting enough.
Of course I would buy another book from PKD. I do not thin Benjamin L. Darcie does it justice. I had to stop listening after 15 mins. I guess BLD is not my cup of tea.
The voices, all the different voices. It is great to have character with different voices.
It tells the before story. It is always nice to find out how the Ender Universe got started.
No. I really like to spread my listening.
Maybe this book is better for reading than hearing. I need to give a try to a printed copy to decide whether I would by a book buy them since hearing it was such a bad experience.
Katherine Kellgren was so hard to understand that I doubt I'll buy another performance by her.
