Laugh-out-loud funny and deeply touching, Beth Hoffman's sparkling debut is, as Kristin Hannah says, "packed full of Southern charm, strong women, wacky humor, and good old-fashioned heart." It is a novel that explores the indomitable strengths of female friendship and gives us the story of a young girl who loses one mother and finds many others.

I really enjoy books that are "stories" and this one is perfect. A peek at mental illness in the 60's and the building of "families". Great narration, I could picture all the scenes in my mind and laughed out loud at some of the characters, who are so real.

One of the greatest mystery thrillers ever written, Wilkie Collins's The Woman in White was a phenomenal best seller in the 1860s, achieving even greater success than works by Charles Dickens. Full of surprise, intrigue, and suspense, this vastly entertaining novel continues to enthrall audiences today.

A little bit long, dragged at some times, especially at the beginning. Also seemed a bit repetitive in a few sections, but very good narration.

Dad doesnt know that Zack has already met the Donnellys' ghosts, who have warned Zack that there is an evil zombie under the school.

I really enjoy all the Chris Grabenstein books. This series, although geared toward teens is thoroughly entertaining for the entire family, we have a teenager and a nine year old. We listen during vacation car trips. Good story lines, with a touch of scariness for the younger family members.

At the beginning of the story, the narrator's pitch was irritating in the voice given to Zack, but it improved about halfway through the book.

This is a wonderful example of crafted storytelling. It is woven slowly and methodically like a fine tapestry. It is an enjoyable journey with a well crafted mystery to make it even more interesting.

Daisy Flattery is a free spirit with a soft spot for strays and a weakness for a good story. Why else would she agree to the outrageous charade offered by her buttoned-down workaholic neighbor, Linc Blaise? The history professor needs to have a fiancée in order to capture his dream job, and Daisy is game to play the role. But something funny happens on their way to the altar that changes everything.

I kinda of knew what I was buying but hoped for the best. The narrator does a good job so that is a plus. Standard romantic comedy, would probably make a good movie- but drags as a book,

There isn't much fun in the sun when a billionaire real estate tycoon is found murdered on the Tilt-a-Whirl at a seedy seaside amusement park in the otherwise quiet summer tourist town of Sea Haven. John Ceepak, a former MP just back from Iraq, has just joined the Sea Haven police department. The job offer came from an old Army buddy who hoped to give Ceepak at least a summer's worth of rest and relaxation to help him forget the horrors of war. Instead, Ceepak will head up the murder investigation.

I bought this book during one of the $4.95 sales. Figured I'd experiment with a new author at a low price. I sure am glad I did. Enjoyed the narrators voice, the book had a good sense of humor and a good plot twist. I enjoyed it so much I have bought the rest of the books in the series.

Overall, the "audio play" was enjoyable. However, there were times when trying to follow which character was speaking was quite confusing. Since I have read the book in the past, I was a bit disappointed by the length and how much it was abridged.

I would have preferred an unabridged book just read by a single performer. Unfortunately that was not available.
