Six years after four family members died of arsenic poisoning, the three remaining Blackwoods—elder, agoraphobic sister Constance; wheelchair-bound Uncle Julian; and 18-year-old Mary Katherine, or, Merricat—live together in pleasant isolation. Merricat has developed an idiosyncratic system of rules and protective magic to guard the estate against intrusions from hostile villagers. But one day a stranger arrives—cousin Charles, with his eye on the Blackwood fortune.

There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

    Magpie says: "Super solid listen!!"
"Right up there with King and Koontz."

At exactly 7:30 p.m., Walter Pettibone arrived home to over 100 friends and family shouting, "surprise!" It was his birthday. Although he had known about the planned event for weeks, the real surprise was yet to come. At 8:45 p.m., a woman with emerald eyes and red hair handed him a glass of champagne. One sip of birthday bubbly, and he was dead.

Harry says: "Great story w/disappointing changes in characters"

Would you listen to Reunion in Death again? Why?

I love this series. This story was clever and I love how the different characters stories were woven together in the story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Reunion in Death?

Peabody's parents were a great addition to the Dallas/Roarke "family"

What does Susan Ericksen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I can't imagine any other voice doing this series. Susan Erickson has expertly personified all the characters.

I laughed and cried while listening to this story

    Any additional comments?

    One of Robb's best.
