I love Josie Long's sense of humour, and I admire setting out to learn things purely for learning's sake. I just wish these little segments were a bit longer.

I'd heard of the Morning After Pill but didn't know much about it so it's really interesting to hear a bit of detail about the different types available. I wish they would teach this stuff in sex ed at school.

I was thrilled to find that there was another episode of Cabin Pressure I hadn't listened to yet. It really cracks me up. The voice talent is just top notch.

A decent enough listen to pass the time, it just wasn't as funny as I hoped.

I just love the surreal humour, reminiscent of the Goon Show, and the whole cast does a great job!

I got this thinking it was based on the original comic by Alan Moore, but actually it's based on the graphic novel based on the movie, and bears little resemblence to the comic. My fault for not reading the description clearly enough! Still, I got it on special for $5 so I really can't complain. The narrator does a good job, and the story's okay.

I loved the Mickey Spillane story, and really didn't know where it was going until towards the end. The Asimov one is also fun. One of the others (the one about the snails) isn't even a mystery story and I am a bit puzzled by its inclusion.

Why, Audible, WHY CAN I NOT HAVE MORE DRESDEN BOOKS ON AUDIO? Please tell me there are more coming! I find it difficult to get time to read physical books but I can get through a lot of audio books while I'm working and I would love to listen to the entire series if it was available.

This is a fantastic series, and each book so far has been better than the last. I love all the detail about the Faerie courts and it's interesting to see a bit more of the White Council in this book.

It's been a couple of years since I read Oryx and Crake and I think after listening to this one I need to go back and reread and see how they fit together. It's a strange book and it makes you think. The narrator does a fantastic job, and the inclusion of music (songs sung by the God's Gardeners cult) in the audio version was a nice touch.

I picked this one up because it was on special for $5 (I probably wouldn't have bothered otherwise) and I was glad I did. The story's pulp fiction, but it's good pulp fiction, and being set in the future adds an interesting twist (and I do have to wonder at the powers of observation of other reviewers who didn't realise that a few minutes in what with the robot dogs and autochefs and whatnot). I think I'd like to live in the liberal Utopia Dallas inhabits.

The story's an interesting balance of romance and crime drama, and it's nice to meet a romance heroine who doesn't need rescuing. I'll probably pick up book 2.



I'll probably check out book 2.
