Laura Brandon's promise to her dying father was simple: to visit an elderly woman she'd never heard of before. A woman who remembers nothing-except the distant past. Visiting Sarah Tolley seemed a small enough sacrifice to make. But Laura's promise results in another death: her husband's. And after their five-year-old daughter, Emma, witnesses her father's suicide, Emma refuses to talk about it - to talk at all.Frantic and guilt ridden, Laura contacts the only person who may be able to help.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I rarely complain but, the narrartor sounded like she really just wanted to take a nap instead of reading. This really made me want to nap, so sad the story had alot more to offer.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dylan, he was just so pure about his feelings.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Justine Eyre?

    Just about anyone

The Black Death showed no mercy when it took Rowan Graham’s beautiful, young wife. With his clan nearly decimated, his heart torn to shreds, he is left to raise his newborn daughter alone. Rowan tries to keep the promises he made to Kate on her deathbed, save for one: He is unable to give his heart to another. Lady Arline is forced into yet another arranged marriage - loveless and lonely. Behind Garrick Blackthorn's good looks lies a cruel, vindictive man. She wants nothing more than her marriage to end so that she might gain the freedom she has longed for.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

    HARLEQUIN ROMANCE LOVERS

What was most disappointing about Suzan Tisdale’s story?

DRAGS ON AND ON AND ON WITH THE OBVIOUS ENDING TAKING WAY TO LONG TO GET THERE.

What about Brad Wills’s performance did you like?

HIS VOICE. IT IS SMOOTH AND DEEP

What character would you cut from Rowan's Lady?

    THE COOK
