During a prison break that devolved into one of the bloodiest massacres in recent history, he escapes. But the aftermath of his unspeakable torture preys on his damaged mind, while the wolf inside him roars for vengeance and carnage. Being a goddess is a lot less fun than you might think. Especially when you're only a half goddess, you only found out about it recently, and you still don't know what you're doing half the time. And when you've just used your not-so-reliable powers to burglarize the booby-trapped office of a vampire mob boss. Yeah, that part sucks. But that's just the tip of the iceberg for Cassandra Palmer, aka the Pythia, the freshly minted chief seer of the supernatural world.

I love the series so having all the books helped me keep this one. I did not like the narrator. She did not, not, not, sound right. Also, where was Mircea??? Love Pritkin but we have to solve the thing with Mircea first...

But even though she possesses rare magical healing abilities, her life has brought her nothing but pain.

You know the story is good when you can't believe it is ending. After the long hours posted I thought I was going to have a good long time to get use to the end of the series but DAMN the luck it was just too quick...

Thanks to paper-thin walls and the guy’s athletic prowess, Carolyn is gaining an - um - intimate knowledge of her new neighbor's nocturnal adventures. And since Caroline is currently on a self-imposed "dating hiatus," and her neighbor is clearly lethally attractive to women, she finds her fantasies keep her awake even longer than the noise. So when the wallbanging threatens to literally bounce her out of bed, Caroline, clad in sexual frustration and a pink baby-doll nightie, confronts Simon Parker, her heard-but-never-seen neighbor.

I really thought I would not like this one because she can't make every book great... Well I am glad I was wrong. Now to what gave me pause: did she have to be vamp so fast? Humanity seems to be a major rarity in these books.

Dory is used to fighting hard and nasty. So when she wakes up in a strange scientific lab with a strange man standing over her, her first instinct is to take his head off. Luckily, the man is actually the master vampire Louis-Cesare, so he's not an easy kill. It turns out that Dory had been working with a Vampire Senate task force on the smuggling of magical items and weaponry out of Faerie when she was captured and brought to the lab.

What did you like best about Fury's Kiss? What did you like least?

It did not feel like a readable story. Dori was all over the place in her thoughts and actions. I was confused most of the time.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Joyce Bean?

Voice did not match the characters in the story.

Was Fury's Kiss worth the listening time?

    No
