It started out interesting...then it just dragged on and on and I was not interested. I only finished it when I was waiting for my other credits to come in. Don't waste your time.

I was so excited to listen to this, as I am in love with The Otherworld series. But the narrator sounds NOTHING like I would picture Eve? She sounds like an older woman, almost grandmotherly and it just ruined it for me!!! If this was easier to get ahold of I would have read it. 5 stars for the story , 3 for the awful narrator!

This isn't my usual genre listen, but I found myself quickly interested in the characters and story line. The flash backs were intriguing and not all confusing (as other reviewers wrote). The story had a good pace and held my attention. The only bone I have to pick is the ending….I didn’t like the choice for the killer, seemed too obvious or out of no where. The way they tied it back into Gretchen didn’t sit well with me either. BUT the story line with Gretchen will make me download the next two books. I want to see where this goes!

Wonderfully written and narrated. A must listen to!!

I will not go on to the other books...the story line is predictable, the characters not very deep...it's a light youth read.

I originally listened to 15 minutes and turned it off. It didn't reach out and grab me. I only came back to it when i was out of my credits for the month. WELL - what a surpise! It really picked up the pace and became a fun listen. I loved the charaters and the story line. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Just when I thought I'd never find a series I loved as much as Twilight. This is the grown up version. It's wonderful! Great story line, great characters...I've listened to the whole series and can't wiat for the next!

I enjoyed the whole series. It's a youth book so some of the plots I saw coming a mile away, but the characters were great, the world Cassandra Clare created was interesting and over all its a solid series.

Still way too much sex, but a little more story line then Lover Eternal. I will not read any more in the series. I love the idea behind it, love the brotherhood clan idea, but it's WAY too romance, sex for me.

I have heard a lot about this series and bought the first 2 with my credits. Lets just say I wouldn't have bothered with the 2nd book had I not already downloaded it.I love paranormal and vampire books...but this book doesn't go 5 minutes without a long sex scene. It was too much for me. I wanted more of the plot to develope and it just didn't get far because of all the sex.
