Would you try another book from Stephanie Laurens and/or Simon Prebble?

No, she writes an interesting tale, but takes far too long. In the end, I think the author got tired and just stopped the story.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Narrator did the best he could

    Any additional comments?

    Felt sorry for Simon Prebble.

    Story

A storm struck on the night Laura Shane was born, and there was a strangeness about the weather that people would remember for years. But even more mysterious was the blond-haired stranger who appeared out of nowhere - the man who saved Laura from a fatal delivery. Years later - after another bolt of lightning - the stranger returned.

Barry says: "One of Koontz' best, entirely enjoyable."

    Story

Had not tried Dean Koontz for a few years; he is very intense and sometimes scary, because he is so on target with his characters and his plots are so thought-provokingly possible. I am happy I tried this novel for my return to the Koontz reading ranks. The performance was outstanding with good separation of character voices.
