  • In the Company of Others

    • UNABRIDGED (13 hrs and 20 mins)
    • By Jan Karon
    • Narrated By Erik Singer

Father Tim and Cynthia arrive in the west of Ireland, intent on researching his Kavanagh ancestry from the comfort of a charming fishing lodge. The charm, however, is broken entirely when Cynthia startles a burglar and sprains her already injured ankle. Then a cherished and valuable painting is stolen from the lodge owners, and Cynthia's pain pales in comparison to the wound at the center of this bitterly estranged Irish family.

    Nilda says: "Disappointed"
"wonderful, enjoyable, heart warming- a must!"

This whole audio production was the Best!!! Mr. Erik Singer was outstanding in his reading of the story. His Irish accent, his separation of voices for the character, his timing and emphasis were superb. The story was wonderful. I hated to stop listening, and could hardly wait to press."Play" again. I think this is Mrs. Karon's best work, but then each time I read one of her books I say that. This is a must buy. Whether you are a loyal Jan Karon fan or new to her work you will love this. So go ahead and get this audio. You will be so glad you did. Thank you Jan, Erik, the musicians and production staff. It was wonderful and I will be listening to this many times.

  • Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination That Changed America Forever

    • UNABRIDGED (7 hrs and 49 mins)
    • By Bill O'Reilly, Martin Dugard
    • Narrated By Bill O'Reilly
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

The anchor of The O'Reilly Factor recounts one of the most dramatic stories in American history—how one gunshot changed the country forever. In the spring of 1865, the bloody saga of America's Civil War finally comes to an end after a series of increasingly harrowing battles. President Abraham Lincoln's generous terms for Robert E. Lee's surrender are devised to fulfill Lincoln's dream of healing a divided nation. But one man and his band of murderous accomplices are not appeased....

    Daniel says: "History Made Interesting"
"A Must Read for All American History Majors!"

I thought the research for this book and the storyline was fabulous. It was so informative, I couldn't stop listening. Mr. O'Reilly's performance was anything but a performance, he just read the book in his famous "Bill O'Reilly" voice, which was fine but it was "what" he was reading and not" how" he read it that kept me coming back. This should be a book that is read in every American History class in America. You will not be sorry if you get this book. And you will be smarter after listening to it!!!!!

  • Weekend Warriors: Revenge of the Sisterhood #1

    • UNABRIDGED (6 hrs and 6 mins)
    • By Fern Michaels
    • Narrated By Laural Merlington
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

On the surface, these seven women are as different as can be - but each has had her share of bad luck, from cheating husbands to sexist colleagues to a legal system that often doesn't do its job. Now, drawn together by tragedy, they're forging a bond that will help them right the wrongs committed against them and discover an inner strength they didn't know they had. The Sisterhood is learning that when bad things happen, you can roll over and play dead...or you can get up fighting...

    Ms Mare says: "Weekend Warriors"
    "Didn't appreciate the language"

The book was not my kind of story, I'm not into hard women. I don't like listening to a bunch of swear words, there are way too many well written and good books that get the point across without that. I also didn't like the character that was 60 and sounded 100. I am 60 and don't sound that old. Not a good listen for me..wish I could get a refund!

  • One Tuesday Morning

    • UNABRIDGED (13 hrs and 41 mins)
    • By Karen Kingsbury
    • Narrated By Full Cast
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

On the morning of September 11, 2001, two men meet in a smoky stairwell of the World Trade Center. One is Eric Michaels, a driven financial manager from Los Angeles who has been busy climbing the corporate ladder, often at the expense of his wife and young son. The other is Jake Bryan, a New York City fireman devoted to his wife and daughter. In the midst of the crisis, Eric falls on the stairs and Jake stops to help him up. The two men freeze momentarily, stunned by the uncanny resemblance between them.

Amazon Customer says: "What a concept!"
"A Must read for those who don't want to forget"

This book is awesome. It is well written, the narrators are fantastic. It was more like a movie for me than an audible book. I quickly came home after finishing and downloaded the next book in the series. This book will inspire you, touch your heart, and make you laugh. It is my first Karen Kingsbury book but definily not my last.
