    Very slow start and it never picks up. You can't care about the characters, because the author doesn't develop them or the story. Disappointing as I've read other books by this author that were interesting.

    Where does The Confessor rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    One of the best fiction audiobooks I've listened to in the last several years.


    Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

    The story was interesting, exciting, and moved quickly. Even with quite a few characters, it was easy to keep them straight thanks to a well-written story and excellent narrator with a real talent for multiple accents.

    A well told story of the inter-workings of the CPA and the early years of the U.S. presence in Iraq. Can be disturbing as it explains just how unprepared the U.S. government was with this occupation. Truly eye-opening.
