I first read these books about twenty-five years ago. They are just as funny now as they were then. Why are there only two of these at Audible? Please add more. Please start with number 1 and also please make them unabridged like these. Thank you.

For over 40 years, Carlos Castaneda’s The Teachings of Don Juan has inspired audiences to expand their world view beyond traditional Western forms. Originally published as Castaneda’s master’s thesis in anthropology, Teachings documents Castaneda’s supposed apprenticeship with a Yaqui Indian sorcerer, don Juan Matus. Dividing the work into two sections, Castaneda begins by describing don Juan’s philosophies, then continues with his own reflections.

I was very fortunate to have actually met the author. This was sometime in the late seventies or early eighties. I was living with my teacher, who was a native american medicine person. When this odd sort of person just showed up one day and stayed for... somewhere around one or two weeks. He would always sit away from the main group and simply watch, listen, and write. I do not wish to elaborate here, but I have to say that the personal experiences I had when I would notice him were enough to make me believe that Mr. Castaneda did indeed have a spiritual gift and that he had also received some very real training. He ended up leaving a notebook behind when he left and I did read what he had written. One page included an unpublished declaration of release, by Don Juan. To this very day, I still use it!

When Autobiography of a Yogi first appeared in 1946, it was acclaimed as a landmark work in its field. The New York Times hailed it as "a rare account". Newsweek pronounced it "fascinating". The San Francisco Chronicle declared, "Yogananda presents a convincing case for yoga, and those who 'came to scoff' may remain 'to pray." Today it is still one of the most widely read and respected books ever published on the wisdom of the East.

This great work, by an even greater soul, is a monumental testament to God and all of humanity can reap great rewards by reading, or in this case, listening to it. If you do listen to it, it will touch you on a very deep and meaningful level.

When it comes to the holidays, no story brings us back to the true spirit of giving like O. Henry’s classic "The Gift of the Magi". So this year we’ve asked some of your favorite Audible narrators—Audie Award winners Katherine Kellgren, Oliver Wyman, and Jonathan Davis—to bring to life this timeless tale, plus two more of O. Henry’s gems: "The Cop and the Anthem" and "The Last Leaf", in this holiday collection.

I have been a huge fan of SK audiobooks for several years now. There have been several that I have regretted purchasing, but with this book I can honestly say that he (Mr. King) still has the gift that has made him so famous. This is one of my all time favorites of his. Highly recommended.

Anne Heche reads The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, the story of nine-year-old Trisha McFarland who gets lost in the woods while on a walk with her family. Boston Red Sox closing pitcher Tom Gordon becomes Trisha's imaginary companion - and the key to her survival against an unidentified someone (or something) leaving death and destruction in its wake.

    Kim says: "Terrific storytelling"
    "Horribly dull"
    Overall

This book was a total waste of time and energy. Tha ONLY reason that anyone will buy this book is because of the author's name and the belief that he (the master author) couldn't possibly write such a horrible book...wrong! I was, at one time, a huge Stephen King fan, now, I am just a fan

If you're looking for a job that lets you do what you're good at and pays you what you're worth, listen to this book. And if you want to make your dreams come true, listen to it over and over again.

Jack says: "I worry less now"
    "A very misleading title"
    Overall

I'm disappointed with this book. The title was very misleading; the book doesn't tell you 25 things to say on an interview, rather, it lists 25 rules for workplace mindset. This was an absolute waste of one Audible credit! Do not waste your time or money unless you are eighteen years old and need someone to tell you what anyone who has ever had a job already knows. My only question after listening to this book is where do I go to ask for a refund?
