"Enjoyable Fun"
In this book you get to know some of the back story of the two main characters and they go on more adventures. It is a fun book and I can't wait for audible to get the third book in the series.
"Wow, really good book"
The book follows a group of characters from the Queen to a slave and tells some of their backstory's as it goes along, while telling the main story of the book. It is well written and I couldn't stop listening to it. I was involved within the first few minutes and stay throughout the book.
"Great followup"
It was much more than I thought it would be and a great 2nd chapter in the story. It flowed well and it kept you interested not only in the story but also in the characters that the author created. I couldn't stop listening and had great fun going through the book. Be warned there are some parts of the book that for some reason haven't been included the most glaring in chapter 90. Overall great book.
"Adventure and glory wanted"
Tells a tale of four friends as they try to make a name for themselves and determine what they want to do with their lives and try to settle what has happened to them in their past's. Interesting story the only problem I have with it is that when the author could use one word he uses four. Story is good enough to overcome the number of words written to tell it.
"Unexpected adventure"
As an avid audio book "reader" I took a chance on this book and found it very enjoyable. The main character is not the regular old hero and is reluctant, at best, to do the job she was asked to do, it is a fun listen
"Really good listen"
I have recommended this audiobook to friends because it is really enjoyable and the main character is not some pompous jerk he has flaws and the author brings them out and puts them on display. Not your average bad guy to hero story.
I really liked the comic relief in the story and also how the charcter isn't the end all when it comes to solving problems. He just seems to be the quickest witted.
Without giving away too much, the scene where he realizes that a promise he was given wasn't carried out and his reaction even though it saves his life.
Unexpected adventure.
I liked this book and the first book in the series even though I usually don't like first person accounts. It is really a lot of fun.
"Excellent listen"
Predictable but great
Like I said it was predictable in a lot of ways but the author did such a good job of telling the story that you really didn't mind in fact the build up in a lot of ways added anticipation.
I like Michael Kramer's voice and enjoyed the way he narrated it.
Not really that type of book, it deals with some pretty intense subject matter, but I couldn't stop recommending it to friends.
First book I read by the author but am looking for others now.
"Fun Adventure"
I would recommend this book to a friend because it is a good story and the characters are ones that you can enjoy. There is enough comic relief that it doesn't become to dry and you can actually like the characters. It was a fun listen.
Any classic thief become hero's book.
He does a good job fleshing out the characters and adding nuances that you wouldn't get from reading the book.
Swashbuckling adventure
As an avid listener of books, I enjoyed this one a lot more than I did other ones, it doesn't take long to get into it and you can guess the bad guys but the writer has done such a good job that it really doesn't matter. I look forward to audible getting the next book or books in the series.
