Where does The Lady Is a Vamp rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

At the top. I have allot of authors I love and read all there books. I have read all the other Argeneau vampire series and loved this book as much as the first in the series. Wouldn't hesitate to buy the next book in the series. I enjoy Lynsay Sands books so much I have pre booked her next book.

What other book might you compare The Lady Is a Vamp to and why?

    Christine Feehan, dark series.

Have you listened to any of Paula Christensen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Not sure I don't really take much notice of the narrator unless I hate them. Then I note down who it was and make sure I don't get any more books narrated by that person.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes,

Park plays along until she can escape, until she discovers that there are things out there people like her never knew existed.

What did you love best about Forbidden Days?

I wanted to know who was the bad guy and didn't find out till the end. I kept listening to the end of the book. Can't wait to start the next book. So pleased I brought all three books. Loved it.

What does Lauren Sweet bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Easy to listen too. I even had to rewind it a couple of places as kids/hubby was talking to me and I missed a little.

Would you try another book from Hayley B. James and/or Michael Anthony?

The narrator is terrible. A one stage was ready to throw iPod out car window.... If I had to hear one more moan or laugh. This is the worst book I have ever listened to. The story was predictable. The only positive thing I can say is I have really bad insomnia and it put me to sleep, twice. Lol

What was most disappointing about Hayley B. James’s story?

It was so predictable. I did listen to the end because I thought there must be a good plot twist. No got to the end and by the first five chapters I could guess what was going to happen.

What didn’t you like about Michael Anthony’s performance?

    Everything

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Undercover Sins?

    All of it

    Any additional comments?

Maybe it is better just reading it and not so annoyed by the narrator

    No

What do you think your next listen will be?

Anything that isn't narrated by Gary Roelofs

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Yes. Even at two speed the narrator was too slow. If you need help sleeping this book works a treat. I have never fallen asleep listening to a book before.

    Any additional comments?

The book was fine I guess if you read it yourself but I just couldn't cope with the narrator.

Would you consider the audio edition of Scales to be better than the print version?

I brought the audible version because I could listen to it in the car. I can't drive and read at the same time. lol.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes I listened it in the car and then took my ipod inside and listened to the end of it when doing housework. Loved the story and even looked online to see if the author had any other books published either in ebook or audible book format. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Would you try another book from Janet Evanovich and/or Lorelei King?

I used to love all of Janet Evanovich books. I brought this book expecting to be amused and entertained. It felt to me that it was quickly written for Christmas and I was disappointed!! I think I only laughed once and that is only due to Stephanie once again having her car blown up and this is to be expected in all of the Stephanie Plum books. I found the book so disappointing I'm not sure I will buy another in this series.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Listening to latest James Patterson book at present. Also listening to the J D Robb series which I find amusing.

What character would you cut from Notorious Nineteen?

If you cut any of the characters from the book you wouldn't have a book. It was short enough as it was let alone cutting characters.

RITA recipient Robyn Carr is the number one New York Times best-selling author of the wildly popular Virgin River books. The 20th in the series, My Kind of Christmas follows Patrick, the youngest Riordan brother, as he recovers from a tragic loss. After his best friend dies, Patrick tries to forget his sorrow in the arms of Jack Sheridan's beautiful niece, Angie. Now the couple just wants to be left alone this Christmas- but their families have other ideas.

What did you like about this audiobook?

It was narrated by Therese Plummer which was fantastic. I have listened to most of Robyn Carr's Virgin River books. It is fantastic to have the same narrator. I was disappointed with the length of the book. It was a typical Virgin River story. No twists, light entertainment. Within saying this I would still buy the next book as well.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

I enjoy all of the Virgin River books and addicted to the characters.
