In this remarkable dual memoir, film legend Martin Sheen and accomplished actor/filmmaker Emilio Estevez recount their lives as father and son. In alternating chapters—and in voices that are as eloquent as they are different—they narrate stories spanning more than 50 years of family history, and reflect on their journeys into two different kinds of faith.

This audiobook is a poweful program that will give you a deeply personal, revelatory experience of your soul. What is required is that you "enter your castle" and explore with great intent the contents of your "seven mansions" and their many rooms. You'll be introduced to a new spiritual renaissance as Caroline Myss explains the nature of mysticism and its experiences.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I used to love Carolyn Myss's books on audio. Now that I've taken a break and tried to listen again, I couldn't. If grace is all around us, as she says, then why not gather some of it up and put it where it belongs! A little humility would go a long way.

Brooke was drawn to the soulful, enigmatic Julian Alter the very first time she heard him perform “Hallelujah” at a dark East Village dive bar. Now five years married, Brooke balances two jobs—as a nutritionist at NYU Hospital and as a consultant to an Upper East Side girls’ school, where privilege gone wrong and disordered eating run rampant—in order to help support her husband’s dream of making it in the music world.

Cathy says: "Another great Weisberger novel"
    "Skip this one! Boring!"
    Overall

I had high expectations for this book given it praise and having loved The Devil Wears Prada. The narrator is awful, there's hardly any inflection in her voice. The book is boring, I'm 2/3 of the way through and hardly anything has happened yet. Its been a waste of time and money.

The title character from ABC's hit television series Castle kicks off his new series of books featuring tough and sexy New York police detective Nikki Heat with a bang.

Ryan says: "As advertised-Great lite read."
    "Horrible! Huge Disappointment."
    Overall

I was so excited about this book, because I love Castle. The Johnny Heller is just awful. There is no inflection in his voice whatsoever. Anyone of us could have done a better job reading this book aloud. I listened to 4 hours before I realized I still didn't know what was going on. Not sure if the book itself is good or not. Don't waste your credits. A huge disappointment.
