Former bounty hunter Rachel Morgan has it pretty good. She has left the corrupt Inderland Runner Service and started her own independent service. She's survived werewolves, shape-changing demons, bad-hair days, and sharing a church with her vampire roommate, Ivy. She even has a cute (if human) boyfriend - what more could a witch want? But living with a reformed vampire isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Really enjoying the Kim Harrison series, just wish the rewind worked better. I only want to go a few lines back but end up at the start of the chapter.

What about Marguerite Gavin’s performance did you like?

Good reader, but her male voices all sound like the same guy.

In this third audiobook in the bestselling Lunar Chronicles series, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they're plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and prevent her army from invading Earth. Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl trapped on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she's being forced to work for Queen Levana, and she's just received orders to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.

Dubbed the American Tolkien by Time magazine, George R. R. Martin has earned international acclaim for his monumental cycle of epic fantasy. Now the number-one New York Times best-selling author delivers the fifth book in his spellbinding landmark series - as both familiar faces and surprising new forces vie for a foothold in a fragmented empire.

Am determined to read the entire series before watching the show. However I am tiring of the dreadful voices given to the characters by the reader. If he just read it all in one voice it would be less irritating than his insurance that all women's voices squeak.

Rachel Morgan is a runner with the Inderland Runner Services, apprehending law-breakers throughout Cincinnati. She's also a witch, one of the many Inderlanders who revealed themselves after a genetically engineered virus wiped out 50 percent of humanity. Witches, warlocks, vampires, werewolves: the creatures of dreams and nightmares have lived beside humans for centuries, hiding their powers. But now they've stopped hiding, and nothing will be the same.

What made the experience of listening to Every Which Way but Dead the most enjoyable?

I am a big fan of the fantasy detective genre. And was intrigued when I first signed up for Audible by the Hollow series description. It was not a disappointment. Plenty of twists and sexy turns to keep my interest. I'd of said keep me turning pages but it's an audio book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I am fascinated by Ivy as her background and relationships grow.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I wish it was easier to back up more accurately. The control tends to over and under shoot.
