"What you expect is something surprising..."
And Stephen King and Joe Hill deliver. Once again King preys on our common fears--fears that keep us awake at night and give us pause in the daylight--to scare the living hell out of us. It's a perfect story for October. It's short, terrifying, horrifying and disgusting; and Stephen Lang's audio performance translates all the terror, horror and disgust beautifully.
"If one day I won't be there..."
The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien is a classic. The first novel I ever read, it began for me a love affair with the literature of the English language that has lasted my lifetime. I have read it at different times in my life, each time discovering something new. I have read it to my children, and I hope one day to read it to my grandchildren. I have truly enjoyed having Rob Inglis read it to me. He has a wonderful voice, does a great job with the different characters, and even sings all the songs. If, by chance, I cannot be there to read The Hobbit to my future children or grandchildren, then I can trust this Audible edition to stand in for me.
