    In the Tall Grass begins with a sister and brother who pull off to the side of the road after hearing a young boy crying for help from beyond the tall grass. Within minutes they are disoriented, in deeper than seems possible, and they've lost one another. The boy's cries are more and more desperate. What follows is a terrifying, entertaining, and masterfully told tale, as only Stephen King and Joe Hill can deliver.

    And Stephen King and Joe Hill deliver. Once again King preys on our common fears--fears that keep us awake at night and give us pause in the daylight--to scare the living hell out of us. It's a perfect story for October. It's short, terrifying, horrifying and disgusting; and Stephen Lang's audio performance translates all the terror, horror and disgust beautifully.

    Like every other hobbit, Bilbo Baggins likes nothing better than a quiet evening in his snug hole in the ground, dining on a sumptuous dinner in front of a fire.     The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien is a classic. The first novel I ever read, it began for me a love affair with the literature of the English language that has lasted my lifetime. I have read it at different times in my life, each time discovering something new. I have read it to my children, and I hope one day to read it to my grandchildren. I have truly enjoyed having Rob Inglis read it to me. He has a wonderful voice, does a great job with the different characters, and even sings all the songs. If, by chance, I cannot be there to read The Hobbit to my future children or grandchildren, then I can trust this Audible edition to stand in for me.
