I agree with other reviewers in that this book isn't reasonable. Thinking positively isn't only about replacing negative emotions with positive ones, but about living in truth. For example, the book condemns all guilt and claims anyone who uses guilt over another is wrong. This is simply incorrect; thinking positive is more than pretending one is not guilty and replacing negative feelings with positive ones; it seems reasonable that positive thinking is living in truth; that may mean ackowledging our guilt and doing something to remove it and then building a better life. Positive thinking is useless in my view if it's not based on truth.
Our narcissistic and materialistic society breeds these sociopaths. This book is an excellent expose of what goes on inside the minds of ruthless serial killers, in this case BTK. The author goes into alot of depth beginning with what happened and then moving on to how it happened and then on to why it happened, so you get similar material under different angles.
Excellent explanation of what is happening to our country. The country is being systematically destroyed and the author explains how that is happening. A bonus is that the book is relatively short and read by the author himself.
The author seems to view man as no more than a gifted ape who when the pressure is on acts no better than a hairy gorilla. At every interval the author says man is a product of eons of evolution and that's why he acts in a primal way. Man thinks, that's immaterial; to survive he has to think and not just act by his estimative sense.I suppose the author thinks that if he tells us that man is nothing more than a product of eons of evolution enough times we'll actually start believing we are no better than hairy gorillas.
