    Would you try another book from Brian Solis and Ashton Kutcher (foreword) and/or Tom Zingarelli?

    No. His style does not work well as a audiobook. Might be better as a normal book.

    You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    I stopped listening, since it required 100% attention, and I generally prefer audio books over normal books, since I can listen while driving etc...

    The book seems to entail a wealth of data and might be perfect with a highlighter in the hand to work through the book. It is very tedious to listen to though, I did not make it through the 2nd chapter.

    Yes, there are always new, interesting facts that you did not pick up the first time.


    What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

    It is easy to listen to and easy to follow - even if you are driving ... You learn as you go.


    What does Brian O'Neill bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    You can process it much faster (general audiobook advantage).


    What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

    Nothing. He is good!


    Any additional comments?

    Very good book. If I had to say, what could be better: I'd prefer it to be a little more concise in some parts and go a little bit deeper in the operational business (e.g. talk about useful KPIs etc). But for an overview regarding the development of Retail and to understand the most important things to win in Retailing, on a high level, this is great.
