Their life jackets keep them afloat until they make it to the shore of an uninhabited island. Now Anna and T.J. just want to survive and they must work together to obtain water, food, fire, and shelter.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would change the Narrator. She didn't differentiate the characters enough that you know who is talking and she spoke way too fast.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

She didn't pause at appropriate times and it was hard to tell which character was speaking. She needed to do a pitch or voice change for each character. She also read too fast.

Would you listen to Allegiant again? Why?

Yes I would listen to this book again. The narration was good as well as the story. Don't listen to the bad reviews of this book because the people who wrote them are just upset that the ending isn't a fairy tale one. I don't really ever write reviews for books but I thought this one deserved one. I not going to lie it made me cry but I was happy that this book did something different with that characters.

What other book might you compare Allegiant to and why?

It's like Harry Potter's Deathly Hallows and Mockingjay.

Which character – as performed by Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford – was your favorite?

All because both narrators are awesome.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Book is very emotional towards then end. It made me surprised at what happened and sad at the same time.

    Any additional comments?

    A must listen to book!

  • Tough Sh-t: Life Advice from a Fat, Lazy Slob Who Did Good

Take one look at Kevin Smith: He's a balding fatty who wears a size XXL hockey jersey, shorts, and slippers year-round. Not a likely source for life advice. But take a second look at Kevin Smith: He changed filmmaking forever when he was twenty-four with the release of Clerks, and since then has gone on to make nine more profitable movies, runs his own production company, wrote a best-selling graphic novel, and has a beautiful wife and kids. So he must be doing something right.

If you could sum up Tough Sh-t in three words, what would they be?

Funny, Inspirational and lots of ass talk.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tough Sh-t?

Finally got to hear some of Bruce Willis shenanigans.

Have you listened to any of Kevin Smith’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I am a Kevin Smith podcast listener. I thought I knew all of his life stories. This book had some new misadventures of Kevin Smith. He is an excellent narrator who throws in some verbal side notes which are not in the written book.

    Any additional comments?

Excellent book for any Kevin Smith fan.

R is a young man with an existential crisis—he is a zombie. He has no memories, no identity, and no pulse, but he has dreams. His ability to connect with the outside world is limited to a few grunted syllables, but his inner life is deep, full of wonder and longing. After experiencing a teenage boy’s memories while consuming his brain, R makes an unexpected choice that begins a tense, awkward, and strangely sweet relationship with the victim’s human girlfriend, Julie.

  • This Book Is Full of Spiders: Seriously, Dude, Don't Touch It

Warning: You may have a huge, invisible spider living in your skull. This is not a metaphor. You will dismiss this as ridiculous fearmongering. Dismissing things as ridiculous fearmongering is, in fact, the first symptom of parasitic spider infection - the creature secretes a chemical into the brain to stimulate skepticism, in order to prevent you from seeking a cure. That’s just as well, since the “cure” involves learning what a chain saw tastes like. You can’t feel the spider, because it controls your nerve endings.

STOP. You should not have touched this flyer with your bare hands. NO, don't put it down. It's too late. They're watching you. My name is David Wong. My best friend is John. Those names are fake. You might want to change yours. You may not want to know about the things you'll read on these pages, about the sauce, about Korrok, about the invasion, and the future. But it's too late. You touched the book. You're in the game. You're under the eye. The only defense is knowledge. You need to read this book, to the end. Even the part with the bratwurst. Why?
