In a time long forgotten, a preternatural event threw the seasons off balance. In a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime, trouble is brewing. As the cold returns, sinister forces are massing beyond the protective wall of the kingdom of Winterfell. To the south, the king's powers are failing, with his most trusted advisor mysteriously dead and enemies emerging from the throne's shadow.

    "Couldn't stop listening"
    Overall

I don't usually write reviews, but this book was very interesting. The sexual content was not really noticed since it as not out of context with the scenes in the story. Roy Doltrice did a good job at isolating the characters and making this rather long book appear to be too short. I like the way that the characters were portrayed in their own interacting storylines. I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series to find out what happens to the characters.

Warning: This isn't the real thing...it's funnier! "Gerber's affectionate, giggle-inducing send-up is one giant step toward restoring the somewhat debased art form known as 'parody,'" says Sean Kelly, former editor of National Lampoon. If you love Harry Potter - or if you have had enough of him! - you've gotta hear this.

    "Utterly boring"

Tried my best to get through the first 2 and 1/2 hours. It was torture. It was the worst audiobook I've ever chosen, completely boring and unbelievable. I couldn't wait to hear something else.
