While Abraham Lincoln is widely lauded for saving a Union and freeing millions of slaves, his valiant fight against the forces of the undead has remained in the shadows for hundreds of years. That is, until Seth Grahame-Smith stumbled upon The Secret Journal of Abraham Lincoln, and became the first living person to lay eyes on it in more than 140 years.

LISTENED TO THE BOOK VERY LONG AND DETAILED TO THE POINT YOU CAN SEE EVERY DETAIL IN YOUR MIND. JUST SAW THE MOVIE TONIGHT AND WAS PREPARED TO BE DISAPPOINTED BUT WASN'T ONE OF THE BEST VAMPIRE MOVIES YET.

YET IT IS SO DIFFERENT FROM THE BOOK ALMOST TO THE POINT OF BEING 2 DIFFERENT STORIES, IF YOU HAVE READ THE BOOK AND THEN SEE THE MOVING YOU ARE ABLE TO FILL IN THE BLANKS WITHOUT FEELING LIKE YOU HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF.. LETS FACE IT THE BOOKS ARE ALWAYS BETTER,

BUT I HAVE TO SAY FOR THE FIRST TIME THE MOVIE VERSION COMPLEMENTED THE BOOK VERSION!! THE MOVIE AND THE BOOK REALLY WORKED WELL AS ONE!

What did you like about this audiobook?

I usually dont listen to books twice. but i might when #3 comes out and listen to the story line all together.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

When she goes to find her brother matt. and when she kissed finn. rooting for those two.

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

She is an excellent reader, ALL authors should get her to read their books. She is amazing, one of the reasons I choose the book. It can be a great book but if you cant stand the reader it wont get listened to. You forget that there's ONE PERSON READING THE BOOK AND REALLY GET CAUGHT UP IN THE STORY, EVERYONE COMES TO LIFE WITH THERE OWN VOICE.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

Just made me smile and kept me guessing. Just when you think you have figured out the way things are going to play out , something else changes and you have to keep listening!! good thing i listen while doing house work or nothing would ever get done.

Do you have any additional comments?

Good story, great reader, bring on number #3 and keep the good books coming!!

Would you listen to Cinder again? Why?

Yes, but i rarely listen to books twice. I am however excited for the next book and hope it wont be too long!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cinder?

    The end.

Have you listened to any of Rebecca Soler’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't listened to her before but she was a very good story teller and will look for other books she has read for audio.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The queen ticked me off. the rest of the book had several parts that made me smile to myself. I really didn't like the wicked step mother but she wasn't as bad as she could have been.

    Any additional comments?

Had the book in my wish list for a while and not being a huge cinder fan kept putting off listening to it. But I am really glad i did!!! A really cool twist on the whole story. especially if your in to psi fi romance.

Appearing to her as a man, he learns she is Merys, a descendant of his last priestess. Though filled with lust, Sobek believes Merys deserves to be more than just his mistress. Where does Priestess of the Nile rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Well i am addicted to audio books and have hundreds of titles purchased from audible. I need like a 5 book a week plan!!
Bought this one because it was cheap, and thought it would be a quick listen.

Usually the short books are more on the steamy side, with not much substance, WRONG, if you like fantasy fiction with a little heat and actually want a good story this is one to get and at the price you really cant lose.!

What other book might you compare Priestess of the Nile to and why?

Too many to list, as a female I am like most of you and like to spice things up a bit , but not with all the grunting and swearing, and wam bam the books is over.

This book was not like that at all very romantic story set 2000 years ago on the nile river, had good plot and just enough steam, and a loving hero all the way through!

What about Felicity Munroe’s performance did you like?

The best part about listening to an audio reader is that you forget your being read to, and she delivered. As I have said purchased for the price , but really got more that I paid for. good job!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and i did listen to is all in one sitting while i cleaned house!! that's why I am so addicted! listen to books while I am driving to work, on trips for sure and especially while cleaning!! As long as I have a book I could clean all day!!

    Any additional comments?

Just a quick 2.5 hours of romance to add to your day!!

If you could sum up Evening Star in three words, what would they be?

    Sexy, romantic, surprising

Pirates by Linda Lael Miller, great story, little different plot, a book i actually read but would love to hear on audio. Warm, romantic and great twist.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When the daughter puts the business men in her place.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When he tells her he loves her, and then tells her hes not going to take her putting him off anymore and takes a stand.
