Lindsay Willows craves a simple life. One where she can make a difference without drawing too much attention to herself. As the daughter of both a vampire and a fay, the cards were already stacked against her. Finding out she's the supposed mate of a dark fay prince doesn't help matters. Especially when there are those who will stop at nothing to prevent her from mating with a prince she's never even met. When Exavier Kedmen, the incredibly sexy front man for a world-famous band, shows up wanting her to go back to a field she left three years ago, she can't explain the strong feelings that surface for a man she barely knows.

What did you love best about Loup Garou?

I purchased this book because I really enjoy this author. Mandy M Roth is an absolute delight to spend an afternoon with. Actually, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. The story was delightful with lots of surprises. The characters were well developed and likable. It was steamy and sexy and super fun. I don't care for the cover however and am really glad I did not judge this book by it because I loved this book.

Where does Keeping Paige rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Michelle M Pillow is an inventive story teller. This is the third book in the Divinity Warriors series I have listened to. This one was surprisingly unique. In these delightful books there is a world of warriors in desperate need of wives. They make an agreement to receive women from another world for the special blue water. However, how the women are selected for Divinity is anything but reputable and how they adjust to their new circumstances is an adventure. Keeping Paige in an inside out whirlwind of tantalizing, edge of your seat triumph of human emotion and love.

What three words best describe Rebecca Cook’s performance?

Rebecca Cook gives an excitant performance with the Divinity Warrior series however her accent for Paige in this one seems contrived and unnecessary. It kind of got in my way as a listener. She doesn't do that in the other books.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I broke this book up into listening times but could have listened in one sitting.

Jayne Hart has earned her independence by becoming Divinity Corporation's inter-dimensional boxing champion. Life is great, until a dirty fighter knocks her unconscious. Now, abandoned by the corporation in a parallel world, Jayne will use every weapon she has to be free once more. Even if it means running from her sexy new "husband" and spending the rest of her life in a primitive forest.

What did you love best about Fighting Lady Jayne?

This is the second book in this series and the second I have read. This book started very strong. I particularly enjoyed the way it teases the other women in the Divinity Warrior series. Michelle M Pillow has a boundless imagination creating a complex, interesting and well developed character in Jayne with a rich backstory. She then drops her into a situation completely strange and unfamiliar ensuring a backdrop for evolutionary and revolutionary change. Michelle then provides Jayne with a warrior who has a gentle and docile energy lulling Jayne into a false sense of superiority. Jayne soon finds herself captivated by his passion and prowess along with being held captive by a society bent on transforming her. Jayne has been enhanced to enable her of fight off any foe but surprise is in store for her when she discovers the impossible happens and she is now supernaturally connected to engaging man.

Although this book can stand on its own, I am glad I read it in order and am looking forward to the others in this series.

Have you listened to any of Rebecca Cook’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Rebecca Cook is the perfect voice for Michelle M Pillow's books. There is a magical marriage of story and reader. I will definitely listen to more of this combo.

Sorin of Firewall lives in a land forever at war. In fact, the Starian men are so busy fighting, their marriage ceremony has been reduced to a 'will of the gods' event where they simply pick a woman out of a lineup and claim her as a wife. With women becoming scarce, it's necessary to trade the offworld Divinity Corporation for brides. Duty-bound to attend the ceremony, he has no intention of picking a bride, let alone one from another dimension. That is, until he sees Lilith, the bewitching woman sent by the gods to reward - or punish? - him...

If you could sum up Lilith Enraptured in three words, what would they be?

This story is delightfully decadent. Lilith finds herself on an alien dimension where she is totally out of place but her intellect and wits keep her strong while her beauty attracts the most scintillating man. When will they get it together and learn about the power of love. This story kept me on the edge of my seat with lip biting tension. I loved every word.

Rebecca Cook is the perfect voice for Michelle M Pillows sexy story telling. I love when story and reader come together in perfect harmony and that is what we have here.

    Yummy.

  • The Twelfth Insight: The Hour of Decision

The fourth book in the Celestine Series, this is an adventure tale, both suspensful and contemplative, that builds on the insights introduced in Redfield's previous books. It describes a new wave of religious tolerance and integrity that is now silently arriving, in reaction to watching years of religious warfare and political corruption.

What did you like best about The Twelfth Insight? What did you like least?

But this reader doesn't have the right voice for this character. I think if I would have listened to the first book by this reader I wouldn't have tried the second one. I put the speed setting on X2 just to get on with it. Bruce Thomas gives a slow dull delivery of what could be and should be a fun fast pasts adventure. Do yourself a favor and buy the hard copy of this one.
