"Great book to "read" with your kids"
I found the book to be entertaining for both my 10 year old girl as well as myself. When started following this story about two years ago and haven't been disappointed.
The book is a child's level of "LORD OF THE RINGS". It has problem solving scenes that help the kids learn how to keep trying even when all seems lost.
I enjoyed the artificial intelligence of Follie's car. This is the car we all dream about as children.
The problem now a days is that We can't listen or read anything in one sitting. I will tell you that my daughter looked for a few mins. to turn the book on.
"Silly, but worth the time"
Don't be serious
The Pole, of course.
All characters in the book bring to "life" as you learn about different types of issues
Brought me to tears
Don't "read" this book as a bedtime story.....
"Very ententertaining, very well written"
I found the audio edition of this book to be better then the printed version because it allowed me to sit back "see" the animal clinic and how the patient, the client and the doctor interacted. Simon Vance makes the book LIVE and allow a depth to the book I wouldn't have gotten if I read it in print.
The different voices held my attention. The story talks about the emotional needs our animals meet. It explains how different people can develop different points of view on treating our animals like our human families.
The true story in the life of animals!
"Gives new insight to how mean girls can be."
I work in a school and found this book very helpful by giving insight to how mean girls can be. It points out behavior and patterns that people working with girls shroud watch for and address. I feel listening to this book every year would help me reach out to those children who need my help the most
The film that shows how words hurt more then sticks and stones......
This book was right on target with girl's behavior. The description of bullying tactics that girls use may be more harmful then when boys fight. This book will make you remember some of our most hurtful times growing up.
"Great way to give structure to random events"
I have a hard time comparing books with each other. I don't think I have ever read a book I haven't liked.
Any books by Malcolm Gladwell.
Sean Pratt held my attention and brought the book to life.
This book makes you think and makes learning fun.
