"Not terrible, not great."
A little juvenile. VERY light reading (listening), no little grey cells wasted on this one.
Probably not.
"Don't bother with this second one!"
Probably not.
I think Beth Richmond COULD be better if she didn't sound like she was reading to children.
Disappointment. Listened to the first one, and thought perhaps the second one would be better because the first one ended better than it began, but I was wrong. Did not follow the first book well, nor did it build into anything good.
"Predictable and boring."
Probably not.
Creativity was lacking.
The performance wasn't bad. Not great, but not bad.
Not really.
Very predictable.
"Disapointing"
This was touted as a "hilarious, fun book", but the humor is trite and the writing is juvenile. The narration is flat and unimaginative at best. Ms. Price's lisp is a little disconcerting as well.
No
"Simply THE BEST!"
I've rarely re-read and never re-listened to a book before, but this audio book may be the exception. I think listening to this book again would reveal new insight and inspiration with each repetition of the story.
Each character was well developed and distinctive. I felt as if I was listening to a friend tell me the story. I have an MFA in acting, and so appreciate the art of great story telling!
Thank you Stephen King and Frank Muller!
