The performance is great! I haven't read the book. However, the audible edition is just great!

I like all of the twists and turns that the book takes. There's a new angle after every chapter.

There are so many scenes that I love! I can't just pick one.

I look forward to hearing about Amelia and her continued relationship with the Emporess.

I enjoyed listening to the book. However, I am sure that Dr. Perry had many more stories he could tell. He spent way too much time in the detail. After a time, each story became bogged down with miniscule details.

Yes. I might purchase another book only if Dr. Perry would cover more stories and get out of the detail.

I am not sure that I had a favorite scene. I did enjoy listenting to the doctor step back and admit that there were times when he didn't know what to do. I especially liked the story about the teenage who would cut herself and go into 'another' world to escape the sexual abuse perpetrated by her mother's boyfriend.

No. It was interesting, but could've been so much better.

This has to be one of the best, if not the best, books I have listened to.

My favorite character was Hadrian Blackwater. He seems to always want to do the right thing regardless of the consequences.

I especially liked his rendition of Maximus, the dwarf.

I chuckled a few times, gasped a few and thoroughly enjoyed all of its twists and turns.

I will be listening to the sequels.

Raul Esparza did a great job reading this book.
Stephen King stereotyped virtually all of his characters. There didn't seem to be any characcters who would've surprised the reader. Likewise the story was ho-hum. I loved King's 11/22/63. It was a great read.

No. It was lacking at many levels. The story line was very cliche; characters were stereotypical.

Absolutely! It was such a good story. I loved the history, the innocence of Little Tree and told in such a way to allow the reader to come to his/her own conclusion about American Culture back in 1928.

Little tree was my favorite character because of his innocence. He simply described what was going on around him. He didn't judge anyone. He simply told a story.

The best tale within the book involved 'city slickers' going to the country to strong arm Grandpa into making whiskey for them. The events that followed made me laugh out loud!

Yes. I made excuses to hike so that I could hear more and more adventures Little Tree took while living with his grandparents.

No. It was not that great. I didn't even get through the book.

I will listen to something fiction.

Perhaps it wasn't Walter Dixon. Perhaps it was the material he was reading that really bored me to death.

I would cut out any personal stories that didn't fit in with the point the author was making.
