How can she dare to imagine he loves her... when all London calls her The Ugly Duchess? Theodora Saxby is the last woman anyone expects the gorgeous James Ryburn, heir to the Duchy of Ashbrook, to marry. But after a romantic proposal before the prince himself, even practical Theo finds herself convinced of her soon-to-be duke's passion. Still, the tabloids give the marriage six months. Theo would have given it a lifetime... until she discovers that James desired not her heart, and certainly not her countenance, but her dowry.

What made the experience of listening to The Billionaire's Obsession: The Complete Collection the most enjoyable?

It was a well rounded out story. The perfect amount of angst, love scenes, storyline etc.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Simon. The author did a good job of making him needy but strong, afflicted by his past yet willing to overcome it etc

Which character – as performed by Elizabeth Powers – was your favorite?

    All of them actually

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The scene after the heroine was attacked was pretty sweet

Marco Donati is rich, ruthless - and more often than not - indiscriminate. Interested only in satisfying his sexual needs casually and frequently, he has no intention of changing a thing about his life. Natalie Lambert is alone, broke, and new to the city when a chance encounter leaves her under the power and control of Marco Donati. As the story unfolds, tensions mount and trust is tested between two people who can't manage to stay away from each other.

What did you like best about Marco's Redemption? What did you like least?

it was an overall good story, paced well with just enough story line to keep you interested. Its a quick easy listen. What I liked the least was, the ending. It felt rushed. It seemed like it was still in the middle of the storyline when the author jumped it 8 months in the future when he out of the blue proposes then it jumps 7 years in the future. Ending needs to be rounded out a bit.

Would you recommend Marco's Redemption to your friends? Why or why not?

    Sure

    Which scene was your favorite?

    Nothing really sticks out

Do you think Marco's Redemption needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No, not at all. The ending of the book would have to be completely re-written.

Zoe is used to taking care of herself and has long ago accepted that if anything bad was going to happen, it was going to happen to her. So when she loses her job over something most bosses would probably be happy with and her life starts going down hill from there she doesn't expect it to get any better. She certainly didn't expect any help from the loud jerk next door, but then again she has nothing to lose so puts her trust in him and hopes for the best.

If you could sum up Perfection in three words, what would they be?

    A great listen!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked both main characters actually. They were well written with just enough flaws to make it a great story.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I liked 99% of the book and it flowed well. The beginning had a rough start in my opinion and was a little over the top with the issues she was having but the book is great after that.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not really. Just a pleasant story that I will remember to listen to again in the future.

Would you consider the audio edition of Man of Ice to be better than the print version?

Havent read it so couldn't say...

What was most disappointing about Diana Palmer’s story?

The lead male character was such an a**hole. Mean, hateful, hurtful and in my opinion un-redeeming. The heroine was weak and a huge pushover. If any man treated my friend like this I would tell her to leave his crazy self and never speak to him again. The heroine had no self respect at all.

Which character – as performed by Jeff Crawford – was your favorite?

Jeff Crawford did a great job and was probably the only good thing about this book.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes! I wanted to strangle both of them! I wanted to laugh with absurdness of this book and cry with frustration and disbelieving.

    Any additional comments?

This author usually does so much better and before I purchased this book I looked at the reviews and they were all 4+ stars and great reviews. Big disappointment.

The follow-up to the runaway bestsellers On Dublin Street and Down London Road. Despite her outgoing demeanor, Olivia is painfully insecure around the opposite sex - usually, she can't get up the nerve to approach guys she's interested in. But moving to Edinburgh has given her a new start, and, after she develops a crush on a sexy postgrad, she decides it's time to push past her fears and go after what she wants. Nate Sawyer is a gorgeous player who never commits, but to his close friends, he's as loyal as they come.

She did an amazing job on all the characters

    Any additional comments?

This story was done perfectly, in my opinion. The plot, characters, narrator, all were spot on and delightful. I have never considered listening to a book more than once and am pretty certain I will be doing just that with this one. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed this book.

Sure, it had a good pace, good narration, the storyline was well thought out and had a couple surprises in there as well.

    Cant think of anything

What about Amanda Ronconi’s performance did you like?

    She did a good job.

When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time. With Carter's undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire's panic that her stretch marks and slim-to-none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.

What disappointed you about Seduction and Snacks?

I always read the reviews and this book had fabulous reviews. However, the book was irritating, slow and just 'bleh'. The book attempted several times to be funny but ended up just irritating me. I dont fine foul mouth 4 year olds funny or the adults around said 4 year old basically encouraging that behavior. Story line was too slow and have a 0 romance level.

Would you ever listen to anything by Tara Sivec again?

    Probably not

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

    yes

What character would you cut from Seduction and Snacks?

    the kid! lol

What could C. J. Ellisson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

    Not write it at all
