Would you consider the audio edition of Killing Hope to be better than the print version?

They are both fantastic, an edge of your seat thriller. Maybe the audio is a bit better because the reader makes it more real, adds a wonderful aspect, with just the right regional accent to pull you into the story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Killing Hope?

The end, the twist. Can't say any more.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    Again, the end.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, each scene builds the suspense. Not necessary to listen all at once, but I would have preferred to.

    Any additional comments?

Love this author's work and listening to it adds another great aspect to the story, making it easier to "see" the scenes in your imagination. Great beginning to a wonderful series.

If you could sum up Submerged in three words, what would they be?

    Suspenseful romantic mystery.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Submerged?

The accident that drew Marcus and Rebecca together.

What does Paige McKinney bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The reader has an innocence in her voice that helps the listener understand why she would stay in the relationship she is involved in.

If you could take any character from Submerged out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Marcus because he has some issues from his past that have changed his life and made him a completely different person with some interesting experiences.

    Any additional comments?

The recording builds up to a hugely suspenseful moment towards the middle of the story, then settles down a bit and we get to know more about the main characters, as well as secondary characters. Finally the ending has another climatic ending, leaving the listener with a twist they probably did not see coming. It was an unexpected storyline but one that worked really well for this book.

Would you consider the audio edition of Wendy and the Lost Boys to be better than the print version?

Yes, listening to this performance brings Wendy to life, adding another dimension to the whole story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Wendy and the Lost Boys?

I loved the part where Wendy flies--can't say anymore as I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

What does Nicole Colburn bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It is so much easier to form a picture of Wendy in my head, the way she reads makes a definite impression of Wendy Darlin.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Wendy and the Lost Boys, an adult take on a traditional children's story.

    Any additional comments?

There is nothing more fun than a mystery/thriller with a heavy dose of humor thrown in. You never know what to expect chapter after chapter. The author has added so many characters with such individual, rich personlities, it is fun to see what is in store when the next one shows up in the story. A fun listening experience.
