    I ask myself, if on a five hour delayed train trip would I want to be with the characters in this book. I say YES???big time yes. Jim Dale???s narration is spot on. The book is magic. There are parts of this book where I can smell the popcorn and taste the chocolate bats, see the ice flowers, and make a wish on the wishing tree. This is the book for the long nights ahead.
    Please if they make a movie of this book, let the art direction be done by Cirque du Soleil, and the director be Terry Gilliam

    This book is a good light read. NOT a hard core steampunck book, just a good book to have on in the background while doing the laundry, or house work.

    A friend of mine told me to read this book, and I said sure I well. Two weeks later my friend asked if I had read it yet, and I told them next time I got the credits on my account. Finally they said,???Look, get the book if you do not like it (the book) I well pay for.??? So I got the book. It is a good book. I really did enjoy it. The book works into the historical time line well. Take out the vampires and it would be a good historical fiction, but coming originally from Chicago, seeing vampires in politics is nothing new. Nicely performed. I say, do not wait as long as I did to get the book, and if you do not like it I WILLNOT BUY IT FOR YOU.

    Young Adult readers, the Adult Readers are reading this series too.
    The Series (all five books so far) is a great read. Humor, adventure, a love story, yes I enjoy them. Book four has two people reading it. I did not enjoy the narration but loved the story. I need to travel to New York City just see some of the places they talk about in the books.

    I really love the stories but sometimes the sex gets in the way. Do not get me wrong, I do like sex in books (sometimes and depending on the story), but I do not like it when sex is the only thing to drive the story.
