Penniless and 34th in line to the throne, Lady Georgiana Rannoch finds herself in a truly draining state of affairs. To escape her hateful brother, Georgie accepts an invitation from the Queen to represent the royals at a wedding in Transylvania. But at the macabre- looking castle, Georgie finds the bride with blood running down her chin, and a wedding guest is poisoned.

I love this series. The narrator is great. The stories are fun and entertaining. Also even though they aren't exactly historically correct, they do tie into the events of this period in history.

It's midnight in Granite Cove and only the sea clams are open. Murder creates havoc in this sleepy New England fishing village and Rose McNichols, reporter for the Granite Cove Gazette, is drawn into the case. Who killed Vivian Klinger, Ph.D., a woman too perfect for mere mortals, a woman who had everything but a sense of humor?

The narrator read slowly so I bumped it up to 1.5 . I felt that the author added too much description of superfluous details in the beginning . I had trouble keeping interest for the first few chapters, but it got better. I had two suspects in mind for the killer but wasn't sure until the end who the killer actually was. I liked the characters although the voice of the boyfriend, who was supposed to be so attractive, made him sound like a real loser. The book was funny though and I enjoyed listening to it.

In this, their first adventure, Chet and Bernie investigate the disappearance of Madison, a teenage girl who may or may not have been kidnapped, but who has definitely gotten mixed up with some very unsavory characters.

This was a really good story written by the dog of a PI. I liked the way Chet kept getting distracted by food and smells. Just like a dog !

After five wild months, D.J. was looking to fade into the background. However, it turns out other folks have big plans for her. Like her coach. College scouts. All the town hoops fans. A certain Red Bend High School junior who's keen for romance and karaoke. Not to mention Brian Nelson, who she should not be thinking about! Who she is done with, thank you very much. But who keeps showing up anyway.

I have listened to all three of these books. I just wish she would add more to the series. I got the first one to listen to in the car on a road trip with my daughter. Then I just had to get the other two. The performance was great. Natalie Moore sounds just like she is from Wisconsin. The book is funny while being an interesting view on growing up and being different. I loved it
