One of my favorite 9/11 accounts from the perspective of ATC and pilots, this is so interesting and well done, I've listened to it about 5 times, never get tired of it.

I enjoyed this book, but had hoped for more about the PCT which she hiked alone, mostly it's about her interior life and experiences and how the hike affected that. The narration is OK but the tone didn't really match the subject matter in my opinion. This is a book for chics mostly, don't know if men would relate.

This is the best book I have read on the subject of what went on behind the scenes during the first two years of Obama's presidency, what happened with healthcare, the economy and why his popularity flagged. The narration by James Lurie is just superb, I have listened to it four times and always hear something new. It is very informative and entertaining.

This book is about Beck Weathers marriage and family life, his depression and psychological problems and what led up to him climbing Everest. Very little is about the actual climb and subsequent events. The narration is very poor and the story boring.

So few books are written about cave diving and exploration, this is a fascinating account and description of underground waterfalls and cave exploration that goes beyond imagination. I loved this book so much I've listened to it about four or five times.

Maybe if you're a musician you might be able to appreciate this book, but it is so long and drawn out with every pecuniary detail about nothing, mostly his drug addiction, women and music, every other word is f**k and after awhile it is just so degrading to listen to. I like the Stones, but this book is just listening to someone rap on about themselves forever, I couldn't finish it, it didn't connect to anything I could relate to and that's OK for a peek into someone else reality, but this qualifies as a monologue to infinity. I understand Mick Jagger had a similar reaction.

I loved Krakauer's account of his Everest climb, however his choice to narrate his own book falls flat, the performance is boring and delivered in a monotone. It spoiled the audio version for me.

A must read for every cat lover; a beautiful, moving story of an extraordinary cat that drew devotees from around the world. After you read the book you'll understand why, my only regret is I did not make the pilgrimage to see Dewey when he was still alive, in Iowa. Absolutely wonderful!
