    How did the narrator detract from the book?

    Made me cringe every time he spoke. Contrary to what the byline says--this is not the same narrator as the first book. While the narration in Darkly Dreaming was not great it was at least bearable. The narrator for Dearly Devoted has such a fake cadence and irritating enunciation that it makes me cringe every time I turn it on. I can only manage to listen to it for a few minutes at a time before I have to turn it off. I really wish I hadn't bought the whole series but I just assumed it would be the same narrator as the first book..

    Susan Bennett is the best narrator ever and I wish she would do a lot more books so I could buy them. I tried listening to a Kim Harrison book with another narrator and I just cringed at how awful it was compared to Susan Bennett--I had to turn it off. It was a pleasure listening to the Christopher Moore books thanks to Ms. Bennett's flawless performances.
