Acclaimed author Daniel Abraham’s works have been nominated for the Hugo Award and the World Fantasy Award. In this compelling follow-up to The Dragon’s Path, Geder Palliako enjoys high social standing as protector to the crown prince of Antea - but a looming war threatens to change his way of life. Meanwhile, Cithrin bel Sarcour is counting her blessings: long under close surveillance, she hopes a battle will be the opportunity she needs to regain her freedom.

What made the experience of listening to The King's Blood the most enjoyable?

The novel is an amazing piece of storytelling. Characters evolve logically. Moral choices ring true. This is fantasy at its best.

What did you like best about this story?

The last half is heart stopping. I couldn't stop towards the end.

What aspect of Pete Bradbury’s performance would you have changed?

To me it just seems like this was made quickly. He isn't awful. Just nothing to make it stand out above the narrators that I love.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    King's Blood will run.

    Any additional comments?

Take a chance on this criminally overlooked series. The first one is really good. This second book is even better.

It's anything but Grimm when the Tell 'Em Steve Dave crew gives their hilarious takes on some of the best and least known fairy tales. Join Bryan Johnson, Brian Quinn and Walt Flanagan with special guest Sunday Jeff as they create a magical world of fantasy and wonder, trolls, living plants, and sinful dwarves. It doesn't get any better than this...or funnier.

Yes. It is funny and makes me feel awesome all over.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tell Em Steve Dave Fair-re-re Tale Theater?

    Anytime that Walt laughs.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Well... They spend most of the time making fun of the stories. Don't worry. It makes sense when you listen to it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This was the highlight of my week.

    Any additional comments?

I just started a new job and was beyond stressed out. This gave me a good laugh and lifted my spirits in a time that I despartely needed it.

Where does Mass Effect rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Middle ground. This isn't a great book. It is a fun read in the Expanded Universe of Mass Effect.

Who was your favorite character and why?

David Anderson is my favorite character. To glimpse the early days of the man I knew from the book was nice.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The Finale scene was well done. Good exclamation point to end this book on.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I didn't finish it in one sitting but it only took me two days.

    Any additional comments?

This was a fun read. Put your expectations at a reasonable level and you will enjoy it as well.

What made the experience of listening to Dead Beat the most enjoyable?

Easily the answer to that question is James Marsters. His performance in these novels is some of the best narration that I have ever heard.

What did you like best about this story?

The early chapters pace and sense of humor.

    Which scene was your favorite?

An altercation in a book store.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes it was. The pace is fast and with James's voice I could have easily done just that.

    Any additional comments?

This book does have a rather silly ending. The first half is great the second is okay. I would say this was a middle of the road for Dresden.

The Winter Queen of Faerie has manipulated Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden into accepting a case to solve a murder and stop a war between the courts of Summer and Winter that could have literally earth shattering consequences. His own soul is up for grabs. Dresden must dig deep to discover that at time a willingness to accept a little help from your friends, be they a cub pack of werewolves, old loves in sheep's clothing, or a battalion of pizza loving dewdrop fairies, is a very good thing.

What did you love best about Summer Knight?

The colorful characters that Dresden always finds himself interacting with.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

A little. The down side to Dresden is it is always on going. It isn't like the story is heading somewhere. Each book operates independently so as long as we keep buying then we will get more. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is nice to have something different every once in a while. It does take away from the edge of your seat feeling.

What about James Marsters’s performance did you like?

I loved his performance. He sounds just like I thought Harry would. Fits this book like a glove.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Dresden finds a moment of peace was kind of cool.

    Any additional comments?

This feels like an episode of television. One story in a season.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The book is headed to one place. It takes them forever to end up where we want them to be. The authors didn't use the principal of In late and Out Early.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Instead of a road book I would have centered on Woodburry

Have you listened to any of Fred Berman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't. Though he is the best thing about this audiobook. He was a pleasure to listen to.

Did The Walking Dead: Rise of The Governor inspire you to do anything?

It taught me how good writing doesn't mean good book.

Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the ten consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

Where does The Way of Kings rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Even at two credits this is a deal. This is a long book. The story takes many twist and turns. The quality of the writing is top notch. Even at one book this is now my favorite series.

What did you like best about this story?

Just how freaking epic it is.

    Which scene was your favorite?

An epic battle towards the end. WOW

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

This is one novel that I just don't believe that it would make a good movie. Unfilmable.

    Any additional comments?

Great characters in the cornerstone of this series. The audiobook is exceptional. The narrators have done their best work here.

What did you love best about The Dragon's Path?

The Characters are maybe the best in modern fantasy.

    The Game of Thrones series.

Have you listened to any of Pete Bradbury’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't listened to anything else by Pete Bradbury. Though he was exceptional for this book. I want the next book to come out in audio so I can listen to him again!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! It will grab you from the beginning.

Please guys release the second book on audio. It is even better than this one. I would call it a masterpiece. If you release it I promise I am one fan that will be purchasing it.

What other book might you compare Star Wars: Heir to the Empire (20th Anniversary Edition) to and why?

Any Star Wars books writing by Timothy Zahn.

What about Marc Thompson’s performance did you like?

Everything. His characterizations were great. I would put him up there with Jim Dale.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Any additional comments?

This is a game changer in audio. It goes beyond just reading the book. It has a Star Wars soundtrack. It has sound effects. Just the little things like it sounding like your on the bridge when the book is on a space ship makes this incredible.
