This one will delight, entertain, uplift, and move you. You need to listen to this book.
Yes I would. Even though this is true events it reads like fiction. Very interesting characters that kept me listening late into the night.
The Book Super Mario. That had this kind of story told from the Nintendo perspective. Obviously with an emphasis on Mario.
I liked Nelson. I could see him in my head from the way he performed him.
The ending is very moving. It involves the measure of a man. That is right up my alley.
This is one of the best non fiction books I have ever listened to.
The narration is so good. This is important to me. I had already loved the ebook. So listening this made it even better.
Great television shows like Lost, and great books like the Stand.
Even though I am not a Boricio (not sure if that spelling is correct) fan. That didn't make his backstory not any less impactful. Very tough and informative.
Luca dealing with his sudden change in age I found really moving. Best thing about that is that it made a character I didn't really care for in Season one much better for this season.
I sure hope they release the other seasons on Audio!
I love how fast the story moves. Each character filling out this fast and fun world the authors have created.
That would go to Charlie. He isn't a good guy but I am still not sure I could call him a bad guy either. His journey is one of the more unpredictable.
Each character has their own distinct style and feel thanks to the masterful narration. I loved reading the Ebook, but I actually think this style and the high production values of this Audiobook, would make this the ideal way to listen to Yesterday's Gone.
Get ready to get caffeinated and call into work. There is no stopping once you start.
This is a phenomenal audiobook. Story is great and fun. The narration is an absolute standout! Buy this audiobook!
Short Epic fiction
I don't think I have ever read another book quite like The Emperor's Soul. Though if you are looking for similar I would read anything by Sanderson. He does not disappoint.
I would have to say Shai. She is the main character. She inhabits the persona.
Basically the whole thing. The format of this book has a very complex thread of what makes a man great. This makes the whole story feel moving.
Don't let the size of this book fool you. This is Epic fantasy at its best.
Very high up there with everything that Brandon Sanderson has written.
Steelheart by Sanderson. That is another YA title that rocks.
At this point I have probably listened to fifty of his performances. This is just as outstanding as his others.
The answer is yes. This is a delightful book. The tone is whimsical but the plot unfolds in a way that kept me listening.
I cannot believe that this book turned out as good as it is. When I read the description I thought Sanderson was finally going to write a book that I didn't enjoy. Boy was I glad to be wrong. I liked this even more than the great Steelheart.
It has a very fast pace without being so fast that it becomes frustrating. The plot is wonderful. It's twist and turns are exciting and fun.
The pace and the sense of fun. Characters are well defined. They make this tale worth listening to.
I haven't listened to anything else Macleod has performed. Though after this I look forward to hearing his voice again.
Yes. The pace keeps things moving and the twist keep you glued to your headphones.
This is the first book in a series. What I love is that this book has set up and pay off. I felt wonderful at the ending but still was wanting more. Bring on book two!
Yes I would. I have infact read and listened to it twice. Not only is the book amazing but the narrators are pitch perfect in their delivery.
Anything by Brandon Sanderson doesn't disappoint. I always recommend starting with the Mistborn trilogy.
I have listened to many books by them. These Mike and Kate always do a great job.
No way this could be a movie. Maybe an expensive TV show but not a movie.
The first book was my favorite book of all time. This book is just as good. Sanderson has perfected the fantasy genre.
Yes. It is funny and makes me feel awesome all over.
Anytime that Walt laughs.
Well... They spend most of the time making fun of the stories. Don't worry. It makes sense when you listen to it.
This was the highlight of my week.
I just started a new job and was beyond stressed out. This gave me a good laugh and lifted my spirits in a time that I despartely needed it.
Middle ground. This isn't a great book. It is a fun read in the Expanded Universe of Mass Effect.
David Anderson is my favorite character. To glimpse the early days of the man I knew from the book was nice.
The Finale scene was well done. Good exclamation point to end this book on.
I didn't finish it in one sitting but it only took me two days.
This was a fun read. Put your expectations at a reasonable level and you will enjoy it as well.
Easily the answer to that question is James Marsters. His performance in these novels is some of the best narration that I have ever heard.
The early chapters pace and sense of humor.
An altercation in a book store.
Yes it was. The pace is fast and with James's voice I could have easily done just that.
This book does have a rather silly ending. The first half is great the second is okay. I would say this was a middle of the road for Dresden.
