You'll learn a lot from this book - namely how to deal with people with integrity. The first part of the book explains how to get people to like you, and it's not hokey or fake. It's a matter of speaking in a way that engages others and listening to other people's points of view. The second part teaches you how to make sales or persuade people to your way of thinking. The only downside of this book is that all the examples are from the first half of last century, but the information is still valid and can be put into practice immediately.
This will really open your eyes about what it means to live in the "now"... the past and the future are but figments of our imagination. The only true reality is the present moment. Some people will have a hard time listening to the author's voice as it is somewhat monotone, but you will get used to it after a while. It is worth the listen - it will inspire you to live for the present, to see things as they really are, and to live a more meaningful life.
One thing is distracting about this audio - he gives many lists - "Six ways to do this" or "Seven things to remember about..." I think this would be easier to see in printed format, or maybe he just shouldn't number everything. The information is good and can be put into practice immediately. It is an interesting take on interacting with people.
