This is a very sweet story about a young woman on the trail of a mystery. The main character is a teen ager, but her problems are grown up and she manages to get caught up in some fun situations. A great story, a fabulous narrator. Would be good for teen or adult listener!!
I look forward to each new episode, it's like visiting family and catching up.
It's probably time to end the series while it's on top. The books seem to get shorter and Stephanie has been in so many jams they are starting to seem the same. It was cute when she couldn't chose between Joe and Ranger for awhile, but in the last few books, it gets old and she begins to look like a emotionally immature loser. Lula is always funny but even her overeating, tasering personality is becoming somewhat repetative.
I have read all of the Kay Scarpetta novels and this is not Ms. Cornwell's best work. The ending is uneventful and it just doesn't have the zing of previous books. It's okay, but I expect more from Patricia Cornwell
