I've read all three now, to myself and Quest by Audible. An outstanding historical trilogy that rings true to many historical facts and ethnographic writings. Want to be entertained while learning about ancient Egypt. Try These!
If you would be informed about illegal aliens and their motivations and travails trying to get here, this book is a must. There is no sappy sentimentality or vilification of the US. If anything, the passages that describe how Mexican corrupt officials allow the rape, torture and murder of central American youth is damning.
Story was well told and voice work was very professional. I've visited many remote ruins int he south west, this transported me back
first rate story telling. I am an American and Australia is opened to me by this book and his others on the land down under.
great voices, story, background, spun well, cared about the characters, was left wanting the next book in the series. well worth my time and money
utterly droll, I didn't care about the characters or the story. Part One put me off the rest and I just dumped it from my Itunes.
