The realm is tormented by catastrophe. Lord Safar Timura, the great wizard, is trapped in the doomed world of Hadin, condemned to suffer and die, over and over again. It is up to his wizard son, Prince Palimak, to stop the disaster slowly poisoning land and sea. What did you like best about The Gods Awaken? What did you like least?

Story was good with elements of the Dark Tower abounding
The narration and / or editing was awful. Mispronunciations of common words and an uneven pace made paying attention difficult. And the hambone laughter! ugh!

What didn’t you like about John Hough’s performance?

    Almost everything

Since 1990, when Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time® burst on the world with its first book, The Eye of the World, listeners have been anticipating the final scenes of this extraordinary saga, which has sold over 40 million copies in over 32 languages. When Robert Jordan died in 2007, all feared that these concluding scenes would never be written. But working from notes and partials left by Jordan, established fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson stepped in to complete the masterwork.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes it completes the series perfectly

What does Michael Kramer and Kate Reading bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Well done. the voice counterpoints and inflections kept the story moving at a brisk pace

    Any additional comments?

Mr. Sanderson should be barred for life from using the words; bloody, bloody ashes and flaming. He totally wore them out!
A synopsis of the other 13 books at the beginning would be a worthy addition

Would you try another book from James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge and/or Jay Snyder?

    No Book was boring

What could James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Use a believable premise for the plot. The attack of the 50 ft woman had more credibility

What aspect of Jay Snyder’s performance would you have changed?

The French accent was amateurish and painful

What character would you cut from Zoo?

    All the humans

    Any additional comments?

One should listen to this piece wearing Birkenstocks and wool socks while munching granola.
