"Fantastic!"
I absolutely love this service. I commute about 2 hours a day (hour each way). I generally listen to traditional news radio (NPR and commercial) but between the constant fund raising and commercials I was getting annoyed. I had picked up an ipod recently and learned about audible.com soon thereafter. I subscribed immediately and added the NYT. What a fantastic service! Now I get to listen to a paper I didnt have time to read before. I recommend this to anyone who follows the news. Couldn't be happier with this service.
"Awful"
Convoluted, absurd plot, caricature characters, cliched descriptive language, bad physics, insulting to both the sciences and organized religion, this book was garbage from beginning to end. I enjoyed the Da Vinci Code quite a bit (though it too isn't exactly well written) but this one was awful. Sorely disappointing to me. The only reason I finished it was because of my long commute and I was out of books. Save your audible credits or money and get something else.
"Does anyone still think he is"
Or that he doesn't spin every single thing he says? How can you take someone seriously who, when challenged simply tells the challenger to "Shut up!" ? The guy is so full of it, it boggles the mind. Please don't waste your time on this and maybe he'll go back wherever he came from.
