I like reading light hearted books so I loved this one. I liked the twists and turns even if they were not complecated.

The voices and personalities were very nice with acents and all.

The fight between good and evil is always a good plot.

I have only listened to this book so I can not compare the written with the audio.

Each character was interesting in there own way and gave debth and interest to the story and cultural/family issues.

I enjoy all of this authors books on tape. The narrator/s have great acents and even better inflection.

My sister recommended this book and she was right...it is a good read.

The plot allowed me to think I knew Who did it" and Why? Then I was wrong. It carried me along thought snowing nights and ice filled lakes. I seemed real in person and deed.

I will look for this author again and return to this listen again.

I have not read the book but I really enjoyed the listen.

This is a thought provocking story with an unexpected but well organized ending. I like stories that make me think and remind me that when I am young and don't know what I don't know, I make different decisions than I will make later after I learn.

I really enjoy this author and this book as much or more than all of the books he had written. Yes, I will listen again and again to catch the details of this multi-tapistry creation.

The readers will miss something special if they don't read all of this authors books for the history, the culture and the personal relationships that all lead to a memorable moments with excellent endings.

The charactors were interesting and had great debth while the story painted a word picture of a time in history that was new for me.

There were too many exceptional moments to choose just one.

I liked Ms Abicus and found her to be interesting, kind, bright, loving, forgiving and down to earth. She always made the best of every situation and showed that her kindness to others came back to her many fold.

People, like these charactors, are not either good or bad. Their lives offer up challenges and each challenge shapes the person and guides their choices. Bad people might do very wonderful things at times which might seem surprising but cause the reader to have a new insight into human behavior and thinking. I will read/listen to this book again and again to see if I missed any of the interesting details.
