    The coyingly sweet delivery of the reader was more than I could bear.

    People who like writers like James Patterson might like this.

    What did you love best about The Living?

    I came to love the characters, and Dillard's exacting descriptions.


    What did you like best about this story?

    She made me feel I could see and touch the Pacific Northwest, it was real and true.


    Have you listened to any of Grace Conlin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No, but she did a fine job on this.

    It started slowly for me but I kept on--I was confused by so many characters. So glad I kept with it!

    Boomers can certainly identify with Harold Fry.

    No, but nicely done.
