A nice break from fable format often used by Blanchard. Full of practical and factual guidance for improving all aspects of leadership including self and staff development, and principles of situational leadership.
Although I am enjoying this book I believe the title and summary to be somewhat misleading. I expected the book to focus more on the first hundred day of FDRs admnistration and was looking forward to learning more about what he did during his first 100 days in office to begin turning the country around...hoping for interesting insights and paralles into what Obama may face. Instead the author discusses FDRs career progression at length. It is only at the end of part one that FDR is elected. That said I am looking forward to listening to part two.
This book provides valuable insights for training and development professionals including a practical process for helping the reader make training a productive activity that contributes to the bottom line. The authors content that sometimes less really is more and they make a convincing case.
This book includes several practical and helpful suggestions. Worthwhile.
