"A long journey to nowhere"
Provide an ending commensurate with the buildup. The author takes great pains to develop the central character, but does little to hold up an interesting story as it relates to the title. The ending is akin to driving though a small town with one stop light...if you blink you'll miss it.
One man's journey from someplace to someplace else....
Kim Harrison's new book
Delivery was fine...no complaints
"Wanting more"
I would recommend the series to a friend. Each book builds on the previous book or books. Some might consider each book as a standalone, but I got so much more out of the series.
Her performance was excellent. She has a comforting tone and her inflections are on the mark.
"Another winner"
I would. It's a good story with good characters.
Will. He has qualities that many of us wish we had and some that are disturbing. Its a compelling mix
The scene in the hangar.
Nothing extreme. It was satisfying listen.
"Poor entertainment"
20 hours of a ponderous plot, tepid suspense, and an unsatisfying conclusion...AND to top it off, the narrator has absolutely no tempo or inflection in her recitation...there is nothing redeeming in this offering
"See Jane run"
This is the most simple-minded, non-plausible story line that I have read in many, many years.
"5 star winner"
This is an excellent story! Good plot line and character development. It was very easy and pleasant to visualize the characters. The narration is first rate. Well written in first person dialouge.
"A complete waste!"
On balance, one of the worst attempts at fiction I've seen in a long time. The plot line and charater development are non-existent. Sub-plots are completely unrealistic. It is formulaic while providing a most unsatisfactory ending. A highly anticipated root beer float without the ice cream.
