Great story, great window in to the history around WWI, great, great performance
John Lee was amazing
Appears to be a collection of responses from his newspaper column. The information was good and I learned from it. So I'd recommend the book because of what you'll learn. Was just bummed that they didn't (appear to) make more of an effort that a copy and paste from his previous writings. Either way, it's a good read, worth a few bucks ... just not a GREAT book.
This is incredibly important stuff to know and so I was well pleased to see how well it was laid out, articulated, and read. I'll leave the summary of the book to others but I'll add my high recommendation for this important topic and powerful content.
I'd love to meet Barbara Mertz someday. You fall in love with her personality in this book. And Lorna Raver was just the perfect choice for the tone of this lovely book. Great listening, very entertaining, and a fun topic.
