    If you could sum up Forward the Foundation in three words, what would they be?

    This book is a must for one who wants to follow the Foundation series in the correct order.


    What was one of the most memorable moments of Forward the Foundation?

    Learning about Demerzal.


    Would you be willing to try another one of Larry McKeever’s performances?

    Never. He reads too slow and over pronounces his words. Too much of a gap in his reading. That's why it took 13 discs insted of 12 to record. Please have Scott Brick re-record this title. He set the precedent for the rest of the books to follow, as far as reading is concerned. For example Scott Brick puts the acent on the second syllable of the robot's name- Di - MER - sal. Larry McKeever changed the whjole thing by saying: DEM - er - sal.
    The pronunciations started in the first book should be carried on throughout the whole series.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Not with McKeever's reading...it would take too long, and I do need to sleep sometime.

    Yes, have Scott Brick do the whole series. I really enjoy listening to him. I enjoyed him in Prelude to the Foundation and I'm happy to see that he has done some of the others.

    It gives information Re robots and interstellar travel which gives yu the information to better understand the Foundation series.

    How a man accused of being a robot seems to break the first law of robotics and gets away with it.


    What about Scott Brick’s performance did you like?

    He is the best, give the man a raise.

    What made the experience of listening to The Magna Charta the most enjoyable?

    Well written. It gave me a whole new perspective of how far reaching the Magna Charta actually was as a forunner of the UN charter. Geoffrey Howard's narration made listening quite enjoyable.


    What was one of the most memorable moments of The Magna Charta?

    King John's intigues in wanting to hold onto power.


    What about Geoffrey Howard’s performance did you like?

    Geoffrey Howard's performance made the story come alive. I've always enjoyed hearing him read.


    If you could rename The Magna Charta, what would you call it?

    Would you rename the Mona Lisa? Thjis book may not be on the same level but why change a title that works? I certainly won't.

    Audible certainly makes listening to books more enjoyable, especially on long drives.

    Where does Foundation rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    It's a great way to get into the Foundation series as it helps set the plot for the rest. I can't wait to listen to whole series.


    What other book might you compare Foundation to and why?

    Prelude to the Foundation because it gives the preliminary background to the Foundation series that helps you understand the rest of the boks.

    Scott Brick is fantastic. He knows how to capture the mood of a book. He reads in thoughts NOT just in words. I really wish he had recorded all of the Foundation series.
