"A HOPEFUL HEART"
ENJOYED LISTENING TO THIS BOOK. NARRATOR WAS EXCELLENT. FINISHED THE BOOK IN TWO DAYS.
"Not What I expected"
1. Could not see anywhere on Audible's website what version of the Bible this was done in. Very disappointed in the translation.
2. Would be helpful if the audio bible was broke down in books (not parts), etc. so it would be easier to select a certain book you wanted to listen too.
3. Also this particular audio book shows Angela Bassett as the main narrator. However, the main narration was done by a male - not a female.
4. I found the voice for Moses dull and very irritating.
5. Some the background music grated on my nerves (especially the high-pitched strings)
6. I find it extremely interesting that the group who put this audiobook together used various voices (including female!) for David in the book of Psalms.
If it wasn't for all the aforementioned I might would have given this four stars for overall.
"Could have been better"

"SORRY I SPENT MONEY ON THIS ONE"
I AM AN AVID BIBLE READER AND FOUND PORTIONS OF THIS BOOK NOT IN SCRIPTURE. ALSO FOUND PARTS OF THE BOOK VERY IRRITATING FOR REASON OR ANOTHER AND HAD TO FAST FORWARD THROUGH PARTS OF THE BOOK. AGAIN THE BEST PART OF THE BOOK WAS THE NARRATOR. I WILL NOT BE LISTENING TO THE OTHER TWO BOOKS IN THIS SERIES.
"The Narrator the Best Part of this Book"
I found this book disturbing in parts. Gruesome. Too gory in part for me. However, it does let you know what it might have been like living in this time period. The narrator did an excellent job reading the various parts. You can feel the empathy, etc. in her voice. After I finish the 3rd book, I probably will not finish this serious.
"Might Have Found A New Favorite Author"
Other than the book being very descriptive at times, I found the book very good. This is the first time I heard Suzanne Toren's narration. She is very good at differentiating between the different characters. You can hear the empathy, etc in her voice in the various characters.
"Glad this was free!"
Found I could walk away while book was being read and not miss a beat. Boring - and narrator has a husky voice and I found to be very irritating. I could not finish!
"Sequel to My Heart Remembers"
For the most part I enjoyed this book up until the near end. Close to end, I thought the book was way to mushy. Also left a couple of unanswered questions. The narrator at times was annoying in my opinion.
"Almost Didn't Finish"
I found the narrator's voice extremely irritating. If it wasn't for the story line, I wouldn't have finished. The story is a very touching one. However, the author left you up in the air at the end. I dislike this about an author. Another irritating thing, is the story is broke into two parts - when the send part started, it automatically fast forwarded past the beginning of the second part. I had to rewind it to the beginning of the second part to get to the beginning of it.
"Excellent Listen"
Linda Stephens is one of my favorite narrators. She does a very good job portraying the different characters. The story had a little humor, a little suspense, a little sadness - overall I enjoyed very much.
"Good Listen"
Narrator was excellent. Story line good, however predictable in places. Glad I found this author. I'm enjoying her books.
