  • Speeches by Martin Luther King Jr.: The Ultimate Collection

    • ORIGINAL (17 hrs and 4 mins)
    • By Martin Luther King

Listen "live" to one of the most iconic orators of all times in this packed-full collection of Martin Luther King Jr. speeches. King's rich and passionate style of delivery will transport you back to the era of the civil-rights movement, when King advocated non-violent resistance in the pursuit of equality and dignity not only for blacks but for all mankind. Seldom has any leader since inspired and captivated an audience worldwide and motivated a nation to action.

    MILTON JONES says: "Very inspirational!"

Great speeches but the sound quality is not great. This makes it tiresome to listen to.

    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Tragedy and mental illness have been dark companions of Rae Newborn for more than 50 years. Her life seems to start rebuilding itself, though, when she moves to a deserted island to restore the house her mysterious great-uncle built in the 1920s. But Rae senses powerful forces stirring on the island. Is the skin-crawling feeling she has of someone watching her only in her mind, or has something disturbingly real taken notice of Rae?

As a fan of Laurie King I was really disappointed by this book and the narration. Its a dark dismal slow moving story, and the narration is equally slow and unexpressive. Its almost impossible to keep plowing on in the hope of some kind of resolution and growth of the main character. Don't waste your money on this one.
