This was an interesting story with a mediocre reading.
Dean Koontz is much better on his own that "collaborating" with other writers. This effort seems like he just turned the project over to Ed Gorman. There is no suspense and there is no momentum. The worst however is the reader of this book. The performance is pitiful, actually embarassing. I bought this because I liked the first book and I truly regret not previewing it first.
